As will the Edsel and William factor. They have the veto power. Makes for such exciting times !

What' has changed? Oh...that's right..the Moody's downgrade of the blue oval credit rating. Makes for budget reevaluation. And you still have a couple of GT's laying around after this weekend. And the possibility of a economic downturn next year. Again...will wait and see how this develops.

To help get the Corvette C8 GTLM thread back on track.

Looks like the probability of a privateer Ford GTLM entry for IMSA 2020 is increasing, at least for some events.

“It certainly won’t be for a full season or at a full factory level, but we do expect that we’re going to see at least some of the cars on track next year in 2020.”
Oh, and I'll correct myself...per the article Ben purchased a Ford GT for GTE Am at Le Mans this year. Guess Ben met the stipulations.

    And more

    Ford DPi still a possibility.

Rushbrook said there would be no hurdles for customers wanting to race in the GTLM class, with Ford planning to continue its “good partnership” with IMSA in regards to the automotive partnership and associated marketing commitments that extend to its continued involvement in Michelin Pilot Challenge with the Ford Mustang GT4.
