  • NASCAR Xfinity crossover for TA at Mid-O

Four NASCAR drivers will take part in the TransAm TA2 race at Mid-Ohio this weekend. A little xtra track time before the Xfinity race.

NXS drivers Ty Gibbs (No. 26 Mike Cope Race Cars Ford Mustang), Christopher Bell (No. 34 Mike Cope Race Cars Ford Mustang), Justin
Haley (No. 99 Mike Cope Race Cars Ford Mustang), and Riley Herbst (No. 28 Mike Cope Race Cars Ford Mustang) are pulling double duty this weekend, using Trans Am for additional preparation for Saturday’s B&L Transport 170 NASCAR race.
The Trans Am Series played a pivotal role early on in Haley’s career. Before winning in NASCAR Monster Energy Cup series, Haley honed his craft onboard a TA2 machine.

When this series first arrived at Mid Ohio, The Trans Am cars were over 3 seconds faster than the Nascars. How are they now?

        DNF-Ty Gibbs, raced 25 minutes
