what are those drivers doing for the rest of the year?? they drove LM24hrs, and then nada

their teams compete in wec but on scaled down programs -so those drivers are left w/o ride

so what are they doing??? just sitting at home -or do they have other deals?

So he is basically driving only one race per year.

Does that make him an amateur driver now, regardless of his past carrer

Nakajima is doing both Super Formula and Super GT in Japan so he's keeping pretty busy.

Not sure, you see some pretty big names in the amatuer class.

Wurz, Lapierre and Nakajima are still the second drivers at the Toyota LMP1 program. The second entry was dropped because of the 2014 development, but they will race at Fuji, and will probably race full-time in 2014.

Oliver Jarvis did the full Blancpain ENdurance Series in a pro class Audi R8 by Phoenix.

Nicolas Lapierre did the Spa 24 Hours in a pro class Porsche 911 together with Jِrg Bergmeister and Timo Bernhard.

The rest are unemployed or test drivers.

The drivers from the second Toyota car will drive next year full season and in Fuji this year. All of them are also testing the new 2014 P1 car (or will be if Toyota didn't do any test yet). Factory drivers bro, they are in a better situation than many others.

I know they are in better position financially, but how are they keeping themselves race ready? when they do not race

They are probably running some expensive simulators to develop the new car. And also there is the 30 hour test, etc. They have work to do ^^
