TSN and the IRL

TSN[Canada's biggest sports channel]will have 11 IRL races this year.[a record]

9 of the races will go live.TSN hasn't fully committed to a CART schedule this year[they are owned by ESPN].

This,along with the new ESPNinternational deal will narrow[erase?]the gap when it comes to international exposure.I hope this can translate into better sponsorship for some of the more needy teams.

All of the races will be carried in Canada via ABC and TSN, this year, according to my chart. I think the only Canadian owned channel carrying CARt will be Global, with Toronto.

Tsn carried a couple of Irl races last year but dropped it after dismal numbers, with Helio and Gil it might improve, but the Irl is not well known up here...
