Hey TD I am in Tulsa for the Chili Bowl where TOny ran 2nd in tonight preliminary A-Main. The guy is such a talent it was like he never missed a beat. Hope to get to talk to him tomorrow.
THere is something so cool about the smell of methenol in January.
Tony will never come back to Indy racing full time. He's in NASCAR until he hangs up his helmet. I would love to be wrong on this one but.....the glitz and dough of WC will be hard for him to give up.
Sure, Tank, but weren't you the guy that was saying that Penske was "pulling a Cleveland?" Here's hoping you're wrong about this one, too. Tony, come home!

Howard, how many million dollars does a person need to have before the next million doesn't matter anymore?

Didn't Tony just pick up a ton of Winston's cash for his "retirement fund" as he calls it.
I honestly think Tony wants a Daytona win and a WC title. If he gets them both, then it's GOODBYE NASCAR. OR the boys in Daytona could just **** him off, and here he comes.
Notice that at the Chili Bowl last year TS wasn't going to be allowed to race so some guy named Smoke "my" Johnson had to drive the car. And Joe was saying no to the double also. Tony has now taken control of his career. He'll do what he wants. Whatever that happens to be.

With god on our side and guns in our hands
We took it for our own!
Zen, I could be wrong, but asking howard that question may be like asking me. And I wouldn't have a clue. Bill Gates would possibly be able to answer that one, but I think his answer might be a little on the high side.
Some people will do nearly anything in order to be able to not do anything.

People do opt for what they like instead of "how much money", sometimes, some people. Now these aren't things that would make me rich or poor but I've twice turned chosen the job with less pay because it had more the things I like to do with people that I could work with over the job with more money. In one case, it was about a 30% difference. I hope and half way believe that Tony is one of those type people, otherwise he would just toe the party line in NASCAR so he could get the call more often.

One of these days heywood, one of these days. I've GOT to go to the Chili Bowl. I just wish they'd put it off a week or two so it doesn't come "so close to the holidays" (my better half's opinion).
