Lets see. Nobody cares about the Nations Cup in CART, (never have/never will) so why would the IRL create one?

No,I have always seen the Nations Cup as a joke in CART. The IRL does not need it.

fish story? OK, but a short one. I was serving as guide on a night dive and we were a little late getting out. so when we got to the site, it was already dark. I went down to set the anchor, a standard practise for a couple of reasons. first, it has to be secure. nothing more disconcerting than coming up and the boat being gone. and secondly, to make sure the anchor is right on the sight so the divers can find it. and, of course, to come back and report on the conditions so no one gets surprised by them.

The anchor was off the ledge just a little, so I needed both hands to move it. I turned off my light and clipped it to my weight belt to free my hands, but it was really dark.

As I'm setting the anchor, something bumps into my legs and spins me around. I figured it was my goofey buddy Vinney, who is a real joker. but it wasn't. I turn on my light and is a monsterous nurse shark, which had swam into me in it's sleep.

I didn't see that it was a harmless nurse right away. I just thought it was a big shark trying to eat me and I about lost it. I pushed off the bottom as hard as i could to get away from it, saw it was a nurse and was able to calm down a little.

About ten feet away, having folowed me down, was Vinny and some other divers, laughing at me hysterically. They were all so pumped to go diving that they couldn't wait any longer.

Vinny got me again and wasn't even trying.
