It stands to reason that after 500 miles, there is some wear on engines, right? Well then, if the engine is not as tight at the end as it was in the beginning, does fuel mileage INCREASE towards the end of a long event? I asked some of the techs at the GM place I work, and they think they know, but then aren't rally sure
