NEW CHAT ROOM URL

There have been some problems with the Indy Racing World Chat, or so I've been told, particularly for IE users.

I have created a new chat, rather hastily, at the following location:

Chat users, please bookmark and use this page. IRW's days are sadly numbered. I have not updated it for several months and will soon stop paying for it to take up space on the web. IF IE users still can not get into the chat, well, I'm stumped. I just don't know. It's free stuff so who knows what's going on.

Oh, ignore the password thingy... it shouldn't be needed.

There may be a couple of new chat alternatives in the works. We'll keep you posted. And I might take this opportunity to encourage the good folks here at Track Forum to create a chat room of their own. That might be the best and most convenient solution for all concerned.

Well, I had a friend try to get in the "new chat" and it wouldn't open for them.

I was able to get into both chat rooms with no problems at 5:45 PM EST IRW has went back to the old sign in page with out the password bar, Take you pick. Put the losers out to lunch last night.

Michael, Disturbed and I tried out this chat about a month ago or so and it was really great. I liked having the option of booting someone out if they were being a PITA.

The new one worked for me here at work. I will try at home tonight though. Mike, the IRW chat your talking about is the old one???? If so remember some werid thing going on there. The funny thing is that you can't set a password cause it's the free one (is it the free one, Dave?) but that is werid.

Threads drop off page 1 waaaaay too quickly nowadays. Partly because many the IRL theads belong on the OT board. Partly because some people have to post whenever they hear a rumor from anyone else.

I just now got into the IRW site with no problems and also the new site as posted by Manson.Scrambler's link didn't work.All I got was a 404 error.This being Wednesday,I reckon that some people will meet somewhere for a chat about something.I just hope I can find it!
