    >>Indy Racing Online, the official Web site of the Indy Racing League, drew unprecedented traffic numbers during the first day of the annual Test in the West on Feb. 6.

More than 3 million page views and 5.7 million hits were recorded Feb. 6 at www.indyracing.com, an increase of nearly 400 percent over the highest single-day Web statistics ever recorded for an Indy Racing event other than the Indianapolis 500.<<

I did my fair share to break that record. I'll be at it again tomorrow and the next day, too.
    Have a very blessed day!

It would be interesting to see how many unique users that is. The timing page has a lot of frames and images. One look at the timing page counts as 32 hits (13 files and 19 images). When you consider that the entire thing refreshes itself 3 or 4 times per minute, those hits add up fast. I probably contributed 3,000 of them in the 1/2 hour I had timing up on my screen.

As for Dr. Austin's comments - here are the stats for CART's website: http://www.indyracing.com/scoring/20...ctice/live.htm . Not too shabby.

Speaking of records. The scoreboard at Fontana had Mack with a speed of 338 mph at one time. Race Control had a ball with that one.

Yeah, that was when Tomas got the "tow" from him that got him up to 221.9
