The web site wasn't posting purse pay-out. Typically what does the series pay out for a win, 2nd, 3rd, etc or for just showing up?Have attended: Indy 500 (36), Belle Island (3), Kentucky (4), St Pete (3), Homestead (1), Texas (2) Michigan (5), Cleveland (3), Iowa (6), Chicagoland (5), IRP (2), Eldora (3)...

The purse is 100k. Any money NOT paid out of that (for the short fields), is put into the point fund. This rewards those that are running this season.
Races are 25k to win.We flipped our finger to the King of England
Stole our country from the Indians
With god on our side and guns in our hands
We took it for our own!

not bad for a open wheel formual series.
Id say thats pretty cheap.
But the IPS detractors hate hearing good stuff like that.</STRONG>

It's much cheaper to run the IPS than the Toyota Atlantics series. Let's see how many of them make the jump next year. It may just make Pook crap his pants.
