If the league is not going to shift their stance on the fees I would imagine all of the ovals would start being replaced by "chamber of commerce financially supported" TV infomercials dressed up like a car race for different city centers across the USA.
wonder if he will have some cool atv to ride at the track!
BTW does this insure he will be with Cheep?

Cycle Country President Ron Hickman commented: "Jeff Ward is one of the most recognizable and respected Indy race car drivers in the world. However, when you also
note that he was one of the most successful riders in Motocross history coupled with the fact that we deal with literally every motorcycle dealer in North America, it
is truly an honor for Cycle Country to be associated with this racing legend."
Hey, indyracefan, any relation?
Two questions:
Would the fact that Wardy is going to do appearances for these folks suggest that this is a primary sponsor?
How would Cycle Country's logo look against a red background?

"But another icy Indiana winter will come and go and before we know it, springtime returns and it will be May and the roar of engines will once again breathe life into the lazy Hoosier sky and bring us back together." -- Sid Collins
Cycle Country has now become an official race sponsor for Jeff Ward with full exposure of the Cycle Country corporate name and logos during all Indy Racing League (IRL) events featuring Jeff Ward.
That sounds like a primary sponsor to me.

Maybe something that doesn't cause instant loss of credibility.
If you are a race fan you laugh your rear off. If you are not a race fan you think the sport must blow because you have not heard of him and they are claiming he is one of the most recognizable drivers they have.
Maybe he is and the Indy 500, IRL, and CART have just fallen that far.
