That is really funny coming from a CART fan.

Some of CART's biggest superstars were retired F1 drivers, and their biggest name young drivers left to F1.
"IRL" ... what IS that anyway?

Who in their right mind would retire to THE MOST DANGEROUS FORM OF MOTORSPORTS IN THE WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!

Another note, anyone see they are looking at changing the name of CART. They are going to change it to the Toyota Atlantic Series because it will be easier to change the patch on the 5 drivers that will be in CART than the 8 who are in TA.

Let's stick with the active list, and not count those who no longer race:

Including an active total wins champion to be named at a later date- I'll leave it at that for now.

Mr. Pook seems to be very clueless and obsessed with the IRL.

Has anyone ever seen sif, and Mr. Pook together? Just a thought!
            Have a very blessed day!

Yep. So what is your point? You want me to say it is not true? It is.

Now if people can see the same thing with the IRL they wouldn't get so worked up on Pook's quote.

Pook sure knows how to "dig" into people doesn't he ??... I almost lost my lunch when I saw the "retirement" comment.

As a CART fan, I think he should've answered a car count question. I'm sure there were plenty submitted.

Wrong, the most recogizable name is going to be on the payroll of the company as a director in short order. Yeah, the F1 and Indy 500 champion his son is not.</STRONG>

well, at least he's big in Canada.....

just like David Hasslehoff's big in Germany as a singer....

Do I now officially have the approval from CARTfans to refer to their drivers as "F-oneabees"?

Seems Chris has no problem with this description.

I have no problem with it at all, Matt.
Feel free to use it every chance you get... after all, according to their fearless leader, it's Official CART Policy at this point.

Sure. It is normal for a very good driver to move up and slower drivers to move down. CART's best go to F1 and the not-so talented go to IRL or sportscars.

IRL's best go to NASCAR or CART and the not so good go to Atlantics, IPS, or dirt tracks.

So, GDF, HCN, Andretti, Franchitti, and Barron suck now?

So I guess the 2-time defending series champion is not among "CART's best", eh Bone?
