    OT - My Band.....

    Some of you that know me also know that I play drums in a band here in Chicago, called AbsentStar.

    Well, I've been waiting till everything was signed and legal to say anything, but my band signed a record deal with RCA Records. Everything becomes official today.

    We start recording the album in June with a February 2007 release date, I'll keep you posted.

    In the future, the worst that could happen is nothing. The most I could hope for is at least getting to be invited as a celebrity guest at the Speedway, maybe even part owner of a team??? HAHA, doubt that will ever happen.

    Anyway, I was excited about this bit of good news, so I wanted to share with my friends here.

    Haven't told my current employers yet....OUCH.

        Always on the lookout for new music...any samples? Genre? Influences?
