so they are running Jon Herb in the IPS for the season and Jacqure Lazier for Indy? Interesting. The blurb started to sound a little like the Marty Roth/PDM collusion from last year. I hope that JL gets the ride.

One thing interesting is that it says at least.

Maybe Jon Herb in a second car?

Camp and Brew Did Not Make Indianapolis
It's Indianapolis that made Camp and Brew what it is.

Herb isnt a great driver but he had a very good run going in the 2001 Indy 500 until Ray parked it after hitting the wall battling with Andretti..

Only 8 or 9 left and it's the beginning of March.

The discounted Indy only engine plan seems to be low enough to keep some of the little fish in the pond this year. I like that. I always end up rooting for the Indy only teams and last-minute-skin-of-the-teeth guys. I guess im a sucker for an underdog.

I suspect that Indy will fill up nicely and I expect to see some good competition for those last few spots. Robert Clarke indicated in his interview on IndyCar.com that Honda will have the engine spec up to the 1,200 mile rebuild cycle by Indy. Second weekend qualifying could be as competitive as the first with teams such as Beck, PDM, Playa Del, etc. vying for those last few spots.

Would someone please return the real Cygni to his rightful place.

He keeps posting like this and I'll have to remove him from my ignore list.

What irks me (maybe its too soon for the truth), DW was a 16-oval WIN specialist, yet the vast majority those boohooing for him, hardcarders & fans, alike are the same ones trying to kill anything with more than 9 deg banking & 4 corners, where Dan ultimately made his home...
