A Real or True race fan does not spend hours on a forum focusing on a series he or she doesn't like. A Real or True race fan is concerned with making the forms of racing they like better, and don't have time to spend trying to poke holes in racing series' they don't like.

"Real Race Fans" subscribe to NSSN because they care about ALL forms of racing.

If you only care about one type of racing, be it formula cars on road courses, or stock cars on big ovals, then you are NOT a "Real Race Fan". In this case you are a fan of NASCAR style racing, or F1 style racing. This doesn't make one evil, but they are NOT a "Real Race Fan".

Sadly, as defined by many people, it means that you agree with the person using the term.

Real race fans don't watch from the suites.

Real race fans accept other race fans' decision to watch any form of auto racing without putting the fan down for doing so.

CamKing has hit the nail on the head, I would only add that the true race fans not only wants to see their favorite series grow but all others as well so that racing gains more recognition from the mainstream media just like the stick and ball sports.

                        Is it May yet ?

A true race fan would never use the term "true race fan".
DVR . . . . Life is too short to watch commercials.

How about a Real and True IRL race fan. I like the sound of that.
