That was one of the better starts I've seen in years. It drew a rather loud roar of approval from my section.Tony Johns

Is there a really good picture of the field in formation taking the green flag?--Paul Dalbey

Also serves as my desktop wallpaper even though it isn't at wallpaper dimensions.
IMS should hire the best photographer they can, stick him on the roof of the E Stand Box with the best zoom lens money can buy and have him do nothing but take a shot of the race start. Then resize it to all the typical wallpaper resolutions and host on indy500.com as the OFFICIAL race start photo!- Make a note of the word 'Gobbly-gook'. I like it and I want to use it more often in conversation.

I thought the ending was better"Ninety-two years ago [the Indy 500] was probably like any other race," said 2005 winner Dan Wheldon. "But over time it's just created so many storylines and history for people of our generation that now it's just massive. People value that history and tradition and you just can't take that away."

There doesn't seem like 33 cars in the pic!"I think of Indianapolis every day of the year, every hour of the day, and when I sleep, too. Everything I ever wanted in my life, I found inside the walls of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. I love it all, from the first to the last day in May. The moment that race starts is always the greatest moment of my life, and the day I win that race, it will be as if my life has ended. There is nothing more I could want out of life."

By the way, what "shot" was the guy trying to get at the end of that video?
