No, not Ethanol but, Meijer superstores and Coca Cola!
My guess is we'll see a 4th RLR car for the 500 with Meijer on the sidepods.

I suspect this news will get scant attention, anywhere.
But,if the 'other' series picked these up[no matter how small the deal]it would be trumpeted as a clear indication of upward momentum, improved ROI and a corporate belief in the '5 year plan.'
And,it would play heavily on the forums,as well as making into RMs PR bits.
Just wait for a similar announcement[no matter how small]and watch the difference in approach.
I don't know who is right, although the IRL could blow its own horn a bit, even if its only over a little, secondary sponsor.
Sorry for the 'us vs. them' slant but I'm sure some here would agree with the above scenario.
Wow, love the way it immediatly becomes a split thing.
Good for RLR. Those two sponsors have been doing the Indy Only thing for awhile, and its good to see them on the cars (possibly) for the full season. Good sponsors to have.
Does Danica's deal with Peak show up on the car in any way?
Nope, it doesn't even show up on Danica. I'm not sure what the deal with that is.
It's impossible, that's sure. So let's start working.- Phillipe Petit

Ah, there's nothing more exciting than science. You get all the fun of sitting still, being quiet, writing down numbers, paying attention... Science has it all.
AS cygni pointed out, two steady sponsor's who have stayed the course and stuck with the series.
Now if only we could get some of the old sponsors back into the frey, other's might follow.
The value of being seen at Indy isn't what it used to be, but it used to be insane. Now it's seen as being "just" very important. Not all that bad a thing for a company to attach themselves with, even in this day and age.
If you can find the words "Peak" or "Mr. Clean" anywhere on her, let me know.
She may be on their webpage, but the Peak/Mr.Clean patch seems to be gone.

Nope somebody stole her bridal bouquet so she had to use that instead. From the looks of her, she's not happy about it.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. I don't see why Meijer couldn't set up a deal similar to Target. Have some of the brands pay for a spot on the car in return for some shelf space in the stores. In the markets where Meijer is not represented sell the sidepod to one of the 'national' brands (Coca Cola, Sara Lee, Kleenex, etc.) Paint the car in a fashion were they would only have to change the decal on the sidepod? Get to work on it Bobby!

Target is nationwide. Meijer ain't. Paying for shelf-space in a regional market doesn't equate $$$-wide compared to paying for shelf space at Target..
