  • Hmmmmmmm.....

I was driving across Ohio last night and crossed paths with the Penske haulers. I tried reaching them on the CB to no avail. I remember when I drove we NEVER ran ch. 19 for all the questions. Anyway, my question is, I thought they had moved to nascarland with the whole operation. It seems as though cutting across 70 in Ohio they would have been coming out of Pa. Have they not relocated yet?

Wouldn't they be heading for Phoenix?
"Ninety-two years ago [the Indy 500] was probably like any other race," said 2005 winner Dan Wheldon. "But over time it's just created so many storylines and history for people of our generation that now it's just massive. People value that history and tradition and you just can't take that away."

Yeh, but why come up to 70 in Ohio. I was thinking they had already relocated to N.C. Seeing them coming out of C'bus makes it appear they were coming from Pa., no biggie just curious.

Could they have perhaps been headed for a windtunnel in Detroit?

        Just a thought.

They do not move to North Carolina until after this season.

I thought that the "consolidation" was for 07.

Only one place for them to be going Saturday night - to Phoenix for the Tuesday test. Wouldn't be time to go to a wind tunnel yesterday or today and still arrive in Phoenix today for the cars to be track ready for Tuesday. (Have not seen any haulers that could sprout wings and fly.)

Not sure of the date of the relocation. Drove past the Penske Shop in Reading last week and there was still signs of activity at that site.
