    After a good 1946 it was 1947 for a pair of Novis, but suddenly all was not roses when two Blue Crowns appeared on the scene.

    Then there was the ASPAR, then there were nine drivers, then there was a strike threat and then it was time to qualify.

    Sorry but the 1947 race will be in chapter 4.

        Dick, Your story reminds me of Tony Georges problem with Cart. The old man faced the spectre of a drivers strike. So did Tony G.

        One of the Blue Crown cars is in the Museum of Science & Industry in Chicago.
        I saw it several years ago. It is in rather poor condition. It is over on the side, almost forgotten... The seat is in tatters. The paint has not been refreshed. lord knows how the mechanicals are...
        sad....
