What IRL races are you planning to attend in 2006?

St Pete: My friend has family down there and we are trying to make the trip to see the parade..

Indianapolis: 7th race at the famed track

Watkins Glen: Maybe making it a weekend trip.. Went last year thanks to Downforce..

Richmond: Been to every race there..

Michigan: Been working for two years to attend.. This year is looking good

Right now, Indy and Richmond only. Definitely more if/when they figure out a way to field a minimum of 24 entries week in and week out. I would have attended Pikes Peak for the 11th straight race and Fontana again, but oh well.

Homestead which coincides with my daughter's Spring Break, then Indy, of course.
I always go to Kentucky and Chicagoland, and I usually try to get to Michigan and Milwaukee, but last year I wasn't able to attend those.

With Fontana cancelled my only remaining possibility is Infinion. I'm not a big fan of RR's but I'm going to give that one a try. I have attended every IRL race at Fontana.

The last time I was at a RR was many years ago at Mid-Ohio with the IMSA(?) running. In those days I lived close enough to M-O that I could hear the cars running. I went on Saturday for quals and practice. The one and only interesting car was the NA V-10(12?) Jaguar. I was so underimpressed that I didn't go back on Sunday for the race itself. But I will give IndyCar a look at Infinion. Perhaps I'll like it, perhaps not.
