I voted Marco just because of the AGR team. Having said that, I think both will probably win a race next year.

The league desperately needs the press that would come from either of them winning...and look whose handing out the engines.

Danica's lighter (i.e. faster), and stepping up from IPS to IndyCar is like going from a level 4 to level 10. Danica's my vote.

Are they not going to do anyhting about the weights for this year? EIther way, I doubt either will see the top of a podium unless Marco is there to hug dad.

Thought I read that correctly, just wanted to make sure.

OPen it up folks, I dont care.

First of all, the weight issue, while this may be advantageous for qualifying, I havent seen where it helped Danica in a race situation in 05 at all. Actually, if I remember correctly, it rather hindered her restarts....no?

While Marco has had some ovals experience, I think that having his father/grandfather to assist, along with 3 other team mates to assist cannot be a bad thing.

                Let the rhetoric fly folks!

"Ours go to eleven..." but seriously folks, is Danica really lighter than Marco. Have you seen this pipsqueek? He's a feather weight. Nothing against the kid, he's only 18, but he's pretty small.

                    What about neither?

Marco could end up as "damaged goods" like AJ IV might be. Danica may never be able to win. Who knows.

I agree with Media Boy. You should have a "Neither" choice for 2006. It would be a lot to ask of Marco to win in his first full season. He will have had a successful 2006 season if he's walking around with all of his body parts still working at the end of next year. This is a dangerous business, especially for a newcomer. And Danica is not likely to have some of the advantages this coming year that she enjoyed in 2005. If the engines from Honda are truly distributed by the IRL completely randomly each weekend then she won't enjoy some of the "factory" engines that Rahal Letterman provided her with last season. And you can bet Penske will provide more competition for everyone next year. Things may be a lot different in 2006.

Could you please add "what are you kidding" to the poll? Only talent I've seen from Marco was the ability to sneer and tell crewman to get out of the way of his royal golf cart.
