  • indycar.com needs your help

We are currently adding new features to the indycar.com site and need your help. We are looking for a handful of people to look over and beta test it. We are looking for people to take a few hours out of their busy schedules to check things over and write your opinions on what works and what can be improved upon.
If you are interested in helping us out, PM me and answer the following comments.
    1. Why would you like to participate in the review.
    2. How often do you visit the site.
    3. What operating system and browser do you use.

You must be willing to keep the information confidential. You will be contacted once we have selected the participants. Thanks and as always we appreciate your help.

Will the new site have a doom section?

I would suggest putting in a little work on the website and a lot of work on the actual racing series.

you know - we work hard to encourage folks like the indycar.com guys to come here and participate - which it sure seems is a benefit to us all - yet when they do, and ask for a bit of help, they get the responses you see above

sure some comments are just attempts at being "cute" or funny - regardless if I was in their shoes seems I'd have to seriously question why I bothered .....

I don't go to indycar.com much because it is very hard to find your way around. Every time I want to go look up race results from a previous year, it takes me 15 minutes to remember how to find it - by that time, I figure it is easier to just Google it.

CART/OWRS has a much easier website to negotiate.

If Paff is wanting to do it, then, I should step up and counter his vote.

CUC I don't think he wanted cheerleaders, so use your megaphone to predict the future (or look through it backwards to see the "Vision" )

What irks me (maybe its too soon for the truth), DW was a 16-oval WIN specialist, yet the vast majority those boohooing for him, hardcarders & fans, alike are the same ones trying to kill anything with more than 9 deg banking & 4 corners, where Dan ultimately made his home...

Oh, I'm as serious as a heart attack.

If indycar.com wants the advice of both a professional web designer (RacerDeb) and a longtime fan (Me), they can pay for it.

Or, they can fish around in here among the GE (Grumbling Experts) and get what they pay for.

I think that's the kind of feedback they are after.
