Also, don't underestimate how far behind Abel/Enerson is going to be. Much less prep time to massage the car, no testing time, and likely having at least one practice session they'll have to miss while waiting on ROP or Refresher (I've heard conflicting reports on which one RC has to take.).

Great, they missed a couple hours in April in 40MPH winds, where all they'd likely done is polish off the ROP/refresher test I'm about an hour.

If they are prepared, they won't be very far behind. This isnt some foreign rubicks cube they have. Same decade old car, same engine, same everything. Yes its new to them. But if the weather cooperates, they will have plenty of time to do whatever they want before Saturday Qual day.

Again, Elton Julian's team was in the same spot in 2019. Didnt test, no experience in Indy Car's, driver was brand new (which Enerson is not). They made the top 30.

not alot of people know RHR...its not that embarrassing. 500 history is rife with older drivers past their prime showing up in unsponsored efforts.. Rutherford, Johncock etc ...unfortunately the **** poor marketing under the Hulman Regime dropped the ball on extolling RHR's victory to the masses in 2012 (championship) and 2014

I asked this in another thread and it went unanswered but maybe someone here knows. I thought most cars were wraps, but there was the video of the Shell car being painted.
Are most cars wrap and does Penske still use paint, at least for Indy?
Do we know first wrap to win Indy, or which winners were wrap vs paint?

every team is different, and heck, every RACE is different.

Penske started using wraps about 10 years ago. I can say for certain that Helio won with a wrap, from AERO (https://aerotechnology.com/) and Rahal uses them also, so Sato in 2020 would also likely have been a wrap.
