  • Race-Car Driver Danica Patrick Weds

Race-car driver Danica Patrick has married Paul Hospenthal, a physical therapist and personal trainer, PEOPLE reports in its latest issue.

Patrick, 23, who placed fourth in the 2005 Indy 500, and Hospenthal, 40, walked down the aisle on Nov. 19 in Scottsdale, Ariz.

Though she is accustomed to driving at 200-plus mph, Patrick told PEOPLE earlier this year that one of her favorite things is sharing life in the slow lane with Hospenthal and their miniature schnauzer, William Robert, who they call Billy.

So...are we gonna call her Danica Hospenthal now?

                        Probably just "Danica"

                        Congratulations to them...it's great!

The story even made it to the Yahoo News top stories. The usual trolls on the message boards were betting on Ellen DeGeneres or Rosie O'Donnell being the "groom." ....aaaaahhhh, the price of fame.

Wow, seventeen years apart in age! I would have thought a 23 year old whose job is to drive over 200mph would have married a porn star or rapper but not a 40 year old physical therapist. I guess you can't tell a book by its cover. Maybe there is more to Danica than her appearance and occupation.

I wonder how long the 40 year old hubby wants to wait before starting a family? Could have a big impact on Dancia's racing future.
