BTW you can see Drandstand C there in the background... almost the same angle.

Memories. I sat in Grandstand C when there was still grass between the seats and the track. Thanks for the old pics. Indy is a lot fancier these days, but no more exciting. Still, I wouldn't trade my experiences there (including 2005) for anything. Except for my own home, my favorite place in the world.

I don't remember C stand, but I do remember the big old cottonwood in T4.

I can remember that the wooden stands in T2 were about the last ones to go.
