  • Best Driver in the worst car

If I had the historical knowlege that some of you have, I'd name this after somebody. You can put that in the replies as to is the all time "best driver in worst car". But this is for 2005. I'm not including RBCR because they weren't that bad.

I voted for Ed, but after pondering this a little more, I have to say it was AJ. Helmegarn was not the worse car in my opinion. AJ's non engineered car was the worst. JMO.

I think you are offering up way too few nominees.

Too few, perhaps. But I wanted to restrict the poll to just the "backmarker" teams. It was a judgement call and I stand by it. As for Dixon, his car won him a race, so it couldn't of been that bad.

I'm just suprised nobody's picked up on the all time Best in the Worst Car question.

Helio and Sam ran pretty well and actually shot themselves in the foot on occaision. They did not have that bad of equipment.

IIRC it was essentially a Williams.
