How'd they find a car big enough to fit Alan Jones?

        Kurt:

That's really cold about Alan Jones! I love it!

Nige was always one of my favorites. Remember when he went to McLaren in '95 and he missed the fist couple of races due to the tub being too small to fit him? They had to fabricate a special Nigel tub!

Should be intersting to watch. I just hope nobody gets hurt.

Is this thing going to be televised? We have seen so many of these sorts of series proposed that I figured this one wouldn't see the light of day either, but whoo, hoo! I hope it takes off big.

Anybody care to make any predictions? I figure Emmo will probably pretty fast. If I had to bet I'de take Nige, though.

The cars are pretty awesome i think. It looks alot like the lovechild of a ChampCar and a mid 90's F1 car. 600+hp, manual shift, nice tires, no driver aides, and limited downforce... wait, why arent we running modified versions of these things here?

Ps, whos going to make the first "Why would Eddie Cheever be in a GP *masters* race?" crack? I guess i am.

The chassis' are actually 1999 CART Reynards that have been redeveloped by Delta Motorsports. It's pretty much what I'd expect a champ car with an airbox to look like.

The engines are McLaren tuned Cosworth XB's that turn around 600hp.

I think Eddie will be pretty quick as well. I thought I read somewhere that Andrea de Cesaris was fast while testing

That really is a sweet car and an impressive driver lineup.

I thought they were using paddle shifters.

"Nice" tires? If "nice" means no grooves then I agree.

Hmm they might be, i could be wrong. I didnt know they were based off the old Reynard, either. no wonder they are so awesome.
