  • Indy 500 or Series Championship, which would you choose?

If you were an IndyCar driver and had to pick only one, the 500 or the season's championship, which would it be?

I know that for me it would be the 500.

Series come and series go, along with their respective championships, but the 500 endures.

I would take one Indy 500 over 10+ series titles.

        Its all about the Borg-Warner.
For the record, I never had a problem with CART in 1995. Its when they turned beligerant twards IMS and their fans for supporting the IRL that turned me off them.

            Indy 500.

And if I was a NASCAR driver, I'd rather win the Brickyard. If Daytona wasn't a plate race, then I'd rather win that than the Championship.

I'd also rather win the Knoxville Nationals, and LeMans than the respective titles.

This is almost like asking "Which is better, sex on your wedding night or the bachelor party the night before?"

                            The 500, hands down.

Unfortunately, even though the 500 has lost some of its luster, both OW championships these days seem to have lost more (IMO).
