  • My view from Fontana.

First off all the weather was perfect, 75deg and sunny.

(2)I have to say I'm impressed with both the Brayton and 310 efforts, they were alot more together than I thought they would be.

    (3) I guess the Infiniti's picked up some power in the off season too.

    (4) The car that was consistantly fastest all day was Jaques Lazier. He may not have had the fastest lap, but he was faster lap-in and lap-out almost all day.

(5)Bradley is running out of options. They have switched engineers, cars, engine builders, but they still can't compete(213mph). The only thing left to change is Buzz, and his daddy is paying the bills.

(6)Michael Anthony from Van Halen is a lot shorter than he looks in the vidios.

(7)one thing I didn't see was TG spending a lot of time with Chip like RM reported on RPM2nite. TG was walking around the pits most of the day, and I saw him talking to George Mack more than anybody else(maybe RM will report TG is paying Mack's salary next).

    (8) I had a free sample of Pit Bull energy drink, and I think it tastes a lot better than Red Bull.

(9)There were a lot more Chevy's there than I thought there would be. Blair had an old Aurora with a Speedway Engineering decal on it, but they had the McLaren engineers working on it.

Has Bradley changed engineers during this past off season? I knew David Cripps and Greg Case were the engineers last year. Who are the new ones???

          5) Buzz fan won't like that.

          6) So is Eddie.

          7) George is probably just trying to pry a sponsorship from under his feet and send it to Ganassi.

          9) Great isn't it? That sort of protection of technology is what has Honda so excited to join the IRL.

No, I was talking about them changing engineers when they hired Cripps. I was stating the things bradley has changed over the last 2 years to try and figure out why they aren't competitive. It seems there is only one place left to look.

Well it sure has Toyota excited. They had engineers in both TCGR and Kelley's pits all day.

Red Bull is just fine mixed 50-50 with vodka.

Hey hey, ho ho, Buzz Calkins has to go.

(From the drivers seat. Love to have an MBA recruiting sponsors....)

Best case, maybe he's like Cheep - a lot better owner than he was driver.

                        Oh, and I almost forgot.

                        (10) Arie had a Menard engine in his car.

I saw him around every pit, Garage and Hauler. He looked to be ride hunting to me.

CK, I too like the taste of Pit Bull! I also have to say that Arie, in that old G Force, was constantly on the hard limiter going into one, at 214, with a tow. To see Arie and Wardrop with that kind of results makes you wonder as much as the Calkins effort. Consider that in another garage building (what's up with that) Sam's crew finished the Dallara in a thrash and got in at 220.5. Maybe Anthony did have a tow, but Arie had one all day, as people passed him! Sorry I didn't get to meet you!
