At this point, I think the only reason Indycar continues to race at TMS is because TMS pays Indycar substantial sanctioning fee.

So we are at the track. They were out running about 30 minutes ago. For about 30 minutes. Seemed like a lot of cars. Nothing on the schedule and nothing on timing and scoring. Did indaycar make some changes? Anybody got any info?

I think my father told me when he was doing ice racing on Lake Naomi, they'd start the fastest cars in the back so they'd have to pass everyone. (Fastest cars being Saabs.) That was part of a story which involved his car being stuck so deep in a snowbank they had to shovel it out so he could open the doors.

They will need to throw a Competition Caution at Laps 30, 60, and 90. All cars a lap down will remain a lap down but be allowed to restart at the front. With 25 to go, another caution. Lapped machinery will get a Lucky Dog. "Have At It Boys" for the final 20 laps. Three moves allowed, fourth sends you in for a stop and go. With 5 to go, two lap caution to bunch them, Green, White, Checkers unless there is a wreck. Race finished under caution, if so. Let's go!

Not seeing anything in the usual places, but it sounds like they made some small change. If I had to guess probably allowed a little more downforce. Those of us at home will get something from the broadcast.
Were you able to tell a difference in the way the cars were running?

It's negative and pessimistic for a series we love to be visibly destroying itself on bad tracks with bad cars. I can't believe we have to do this twice this weekend.

Yep, I'm a huge oval fan, but its time to dump Crazy Eddie's track. It's just no good and it is actually hurting the cause of adding ovals, IMO.
