So ... TKG has not 1, not 2, but 3 drivers competing for the top spot. Team orders aren't common place anywhere outside of F1, ... but do ya think if it gets tight at the end (like last year), and Mikey's near the lead (like last year) that Dario and Tracy try to hold off the pack ???
Either way ... Michael's my choice for winning the 500. Not my pick, which is different. That would either be Kanaan or Vasser.M.Andretti and J.Vasser ... at 39 and 36, STILL the best American open-wheel has to offer.

Soooo.... would Mikey also show up at Nazareth (the last IRL race before Indy) to get a little extra practice time in that car?
We locals would certainly appreciate seeing him run there! (and Tracy and Franchitti too)

Not that they haven't done that before, mind you.

well my day is complete, I have been very concerned that sir Mikey would not make it to the Brickyard this year--I wonder if he will require the assistance of an IRL team this year to make it in the show????All is well in the Champcar world (momentum, engines, schedule, attendance) unless you like racing ;)

Then resist the urge. We IRL fans will be cheering for Andretti. An Andretti win at Indy will be memorable.

I for one will be cheering for him. If you have been to Indy on pole day you would know what I mean. Everytime his name is announced for a qualifying run you here plenty of boos.
