Kind of like Paul Tracy said... the most exciting part of the day might be the post race interviews.
"...American open-wheel racing is based around the most famous oval track in the world -- the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. So how in the world does it make sense to center the majority of the IndyCar Series on street courses, road courses and foreign events?..." Terry Blount, ESPN

          5. Great event, great crowd, typical "pole sitter takes off" LBGP. They've been doing this regularly since 1976.

There's really no such thing as Gary the Moose, Sybil.

Beautiful weather, good crowd, scenic location and best street course on the schedule (which is a pretty low bar) but the race was an absolute bust. IMSA race yesterday would have gotten a 10. This race a very generous four.

Not sure on my number yet. Race was kind of boring, but props to Rossi for a great drive. Bad call by race control on the last lap was pretty dissapointing as well.. Not sure what you want someone to do on the last lap while racing for position. Had that been for the win would they have made the same call?

Long Beach is worthless. Watch the first lap, then turn it off. Pretty much every year.

Thank goodness that Power pulled a Power and Rahal pulled a Rahal.

                        6. Fun in person but definitely a bit boring to watch Rossi run away with it.

The Dixon/Rahal drama at the end brought it up to a 3. That's all I really have to say about Long Beach.

Not a good first four races for the series overall. Brief flashes of interesting action, at best. I'm enjoying the top five in standings though.
The minimum safe following distance on the road is two seconds, no matter how important/skilled you feel you are. This doesn't change if you think the person in front of you is driving too slow. These truths are non-negotiable.

Outright boring. Gave it a 4 even though i changed the channel to watch something else after the 1st half hour.

Rossi is a great driver, but the real fun was that race for 3rd, great drive by Graham Rahal
