  • Rev-ed - TKG Update

I noticed on the cart.com webpage that
Paul Tracy and Dario Franchitti are
    driving #26 and #27 respectively. I
don't think those numbers are currently
in use by the IRL - therefore they should
    carry over to Indy.

I wonder is they are using all the setups
    notes from Sam Hornish/Panther ...

a-dude -- that's my assumption also. Probably the only reason I haven't just put those numbers on the board is that rumor about Blueprint doing an Indy-only run. Thinking about it though, I think TKG would get preference at this point. . .

Also, the Indy Star reported this morning that TKG has purchased 14 Chevy engines from Speedway Engine Development for $1.4M. Gee, do you think that's enough for 3 cars at Indy?

I think RP took 10 engines to Indy last year for his two car team.

That means Paul Tracy has seven engines to blow, all to himself. He must be salivating.

Tracy won't be able to keep the car off the fence long enough to blow five engines, sorry spook, the devil made me say that, I couldn't resist!

If thats true then I wonder how the regular customers of Speedway Engines feel about not getting engines because the sales to a one-off Indy run by TKG instead of a regularIRL competitor? As a matter of fact I wonder how the league feels about that?

Has engine availability been a problem?
