  • Big Bill's going for the Big Bucks...what do you think

Tuesday the 12th Simpson is filing a 100 million dollar suit against Nascar here in Indy.

What do race fans think? Your thoughts....

He'll go broke paying legal bills and have to give up before he collects a dime.

NASCAR would rather spend 200 million to fight it rather than settle and give him anything.

NASCAR will settle rather than let the facts see the light of day.
We flipped our finger to the King of England
Stole our country from the Indians
With god on our side and guns in our hands
We took it for our own!

If Simpson lets them. A Bill Simpson with a righteous case of the red *** is a dangerous thing.

I agree with both step and writer. He'll be a handful for NASCAR.
            Have a very blessed day!

I am 100% solidly in Bill's corner. What the HVPTA blamed on him is inexcusable.

I agree that it's likely Mike and the boys will want to settle. Bill, I believe, doesn't want a great reputation built over a lifetime to be haphazardly trashed, which is what happened.

              More power to him.

Only my opinion, but, any safety device improperly used/installed is worthless. Nascar, Mr. Helton and Gary Nelson let things go that shouldn't have and the racing world lost a legend. Instead of coming clean at the big press conference they trashed Bill Simpson and company.................I hope he wins every penny of it.

Exactly, what does this have to do with the IRL?

Absolutely nothing...the IRL is not being sued...

Bill simpson is everyone's consern. He just may be the biggest pioneer of safety technology we have ever had. If you have had you life saved by a simpson helmet, suit, belts, parachute, etc, this is of consern for you no matter what forum it appears in.

How many IRL drivers use Simpson equipment?

Besided, you gotta love a guy who will allow himself to be set on fire in a lawn chair right in the middle of Gasoline Alley. Kind of shows you how much he believes in what he is doing.
                            I'm dead now.

When is the IRL going to require the drivers to use the HANS device and for the pit crew members to use helmets??
DVR . . . . Life is too short to watch commercials.
