  • CNN and RPM2Night-Journalism with a huge bias

    JohnK-
Better call CNN. They had to learn the hard way that slanted broadcast coverage loses viewership. Can Robin Miller now and get an unbiased reporter, or we'll all be making the switch to the Speed Channel (see Foxnews)

I refuse to watch RPM2nite for so long as RM is there. I have enjoyed that show for many years until he appeared and soured it for me.

I used to think Robin was a fair guy, but the longer the split goes on, the more i see he has chosen sides, completely unacceptable for a supposed journalist. It's ok for us to pick a side, but if you want to be a credible reporter, you have to stay in the middle. The "lemming" reference was the final straw for me. You can't insult the fans of one side and then claim to be objective.
      I'm dead now.

Did he actually say 'Lemming' on the show?

If so then he must want to work for Speed channel

I didn't see the show in question as I no longer watch that show just because of RM. What exactly did happen?

Rememer, RPM2nite folks consider most of RM's statements as "commentaries" so, in that light, they allow him to say just about anything he wants.

Does anybody recall RM's recent bashing of CART?

Are people still surprised by biased journalism? (pardon my redundancy)

ALL media is biased. To claim otherwise is a LIE.

Listen to AM talk radio. 90% Conservative, and 50% far Right Wing.

And anyone that thinks Fox News is unbiased is nuts. Ever notice that Fox has Left Wing TV show producers and Right Wing newspeople. Also thrown in are the people that bring you great crashed and smashed shows.

Pick your poison. They ALL have a slant.

And I watched part of RPM2Nite. Robin gave CART a 2 minute in focus on their logo, meanwhile talking about the IRL. Give me a break. You'd think ABC was getting paid for all that CART promo time.

I think Robin has been tough on CART in the past as well as the IRL, especially when you consider that it has been proven that gets a check from them. Last night he mentioned not racing for fuel economy reasons. and finishing under the caution, which by the way CART has addressed, I hope that forces the IRL to do the same. If Miller's comments last night about CART were about the IRL the posts here would have run five pages in about ten hours.

Yes, in order for a person to be considered Far Right Wing, they must first be Conservative. The 50% are included in the 90%.

The other 10% are divided amongst Socialists and assorted extrememist. You'd be hard pressed to find a Moderate Liberal on AM Radio.

And if you find a middle of the road moderate, let me know. I'd like to listen to them. Someone that votes both sides of the aisle would be great.

Too bad the congress can't take that line as well. Too bad the American people are secondary to the party.

Yes, far too bad. Neither party represents ME, so I'm stuck with a better of two evils choice.

Though in the end, it kinda works out. No ever gets their way, so somewhere in the middle of the "deal" is probably the best solution anyway.
