It was very pleasant last year and I loved my three days there. Every day you are welcome to the pit area until about 3:00 PM, when they run everyone out and allow only those with credentials in. The cars and engine combinations were awesome. I will not be going this year because the money grabbing pair that run the thing decided not to honor the .com reporters credential request, fearing too many of them would detract from the ticket sales. Not liking where I would have to watch from with credentials, I had already bought my tickets for the good seats.
Anyone going can send me an E-mail or PM for tips about places to stay and where to eat and be entertained.

Is the Chili Bowl a USAC event? It would be considered a "Short Track" event, right? Those may sound like dumb questions, but I saw some info about the event on a "Sportscar" forum, and I wanted to make really sure before I correct the poster, and suggest they discuss the topic on the USAC or Short Track forum.
I do know that midgets are not sportscars. Thanks!
