  • Why I will attend more IRL races next year than I ever have before...

    1. The IRL is racing at the MILE (my home track!)

    2. I will be able to attend both Michigan and Chicagoland for the first time in the same season.

    3. I just purchased a digital camera with a large zoom lens that will allow me to fill my walls with 20x30 posters of IRL action.

    4. I will attend Indy for the 9th year in a row. (While that might seem like a short time for the elders here, two of those years were during a difficult battle with cancer!)

    5. My wife enjoys the IRL at least enough to suggest that we spend a week in Florida to see the IRL season opener.

    6. Five years ago, I would have had to attend an IRL race by myself since most of my race buddies were initially CART fans and were hard to convert. Now times have changed and we enjoy many race together so I have a great group to share races with.

    7. I am more excited about the IRL than ever before.

    8.

I guess I am just a cup half full kind of guy!

I am very happy about Milwaukee and can't wait to go.

    Indy
    Milwaukee
    MIS
    Chicagoland
    Ky

If CART actually races at LVMS in the fall I may attend that as well.

    USGP

Next season can't get here soon enough.

      Homestead (outside chance)
      Indy
      Texas (outside chance)
      Michigan
      Kentucky

If I could just win the lottery I would go to all of them in a new Prevost Motorhome!

Keep that cup half full Badger!!!

Despite those who seem to want to rip down Indy Car Racing no matter what, it is nice to see many of us still appreciate how hard they worked and how great the series is.

Having Milwaukee back on the schedule is fantastic!!!!

with me it will be less, just Indy

I went to Kentucky last year, but this year they are being the gestapo on entry procedures so i likely will not return

i will watch all the race on TV

I'm a half-full type also, but, FWIW, I've become somewhat disenchanted with the IRL.

I usually go to between 4 and 6 races a year. I enjoyed the environment where the little guy had a shot, and engine building craftsmen had a chance to shine.

Those days seem to be gone. I'll be watching some races on TV, with a twinge of "what might have been."

Indy, Michigan, and Kentucky for me.

                  Plus the USGP.

And maybe Milwaukee or Chicago or both, if I can swing it.

That would be a new personal best record for me.

I figured Milwaukee would play into speedy's plans.

Still working on a schedule for my own plans. I'm guess Michigan and at least one other race. . . depends on the kids' activities, I guess.

I'll make at least 15 next year. Working on a plan to make the 16th happen.

While things aren't exactly as I'd like them, they are pretty dang good.

Growth sometimes hurts. I've seen it in a ton of other venues, so why should racing be any different.

2004 should be a lot of fun.

My buddy just received the first mailer about season tickets at the Mile. It looks like USAC will join the bill for the weekend. Should be a factastic weekend for racing. You should try to work the Mile into your schedule too Rev!

Indy for sure, Nashville maybe. Dropping Kentucky due to their new no-passouts policy.
