Jaques Lazier ??

Anyone heae anything about Jaques Lazier he lives in the area of the California fires?

Jaques and the family left their house and went down to Newport Beach to escape the fire and smoke and ash. Last word I had was their house was spared but the smoke and ash was too thick to return just yet. More later when I find out.........or stan wakes up

I talked to Jaques last night and the house was spared although much smoke and ash damage to the interior. The fire got to within 50 feet of their house and was 100 feet tall


While down at the beach some guy ran into the rearend of Angeliques car at 35 mph and she has a severe concussion but Jaques and the baby are ok. Kudos to BMW on their X5 and the way it's built.

Sorry I haven't been on to let everyone know what was happening we have just been to busy here with the fires so close to Jaques, house and mine and the track. I had a big race this weekend that had to go on and the ash falling and the smoke and all that goes with this kind of fire just about overwhelmed us. We got the big stuff done and the race finished. Behind our tower suites to the north you could watch houses just explode in the La Vern area. I have lived here all my life and seen a lot of bad fires but this one is beyond explanation. Miles and miles of fire from the desert almost to the sea now. We as a family are safe from the fire now but many thousands around us are still in big trouble. The only reason we are safe is there is nothing left to burn. We are all alive but I can tell you I"m coughing stuff from my lungs that I'm pretty sure has never been seen by mankind before. Jaques, wife is better today but will take some time to heal. She had suffered major head trama in an accident in college, fractured skull so her recovery time from this will be longer than normal.

Wow... sorry to hear she was injured. It is good to hear that she is expected to recover, though.

Thoughts and prayers go out to everyone who has suffred injury or losses from this fire. It makes it even worse, if possible, that officials are thinking it was arson! Best wishes to Jaques and his family. May they stay safe. Hope Angelique recovers quickly and completely.
