  • 200 G Hit for Brack?

Heard in a news story, or I think I heard, that Kenny's accident registered 200 G's does anyone know if that is true?

have not heard anything but I would assume the highest g forces are concrete wall impacts (w/o Safer barrier) where there is absolutely no deformation of the object impacted.
in Brack's case, there was a lot of deformation until the car got to that gate/post area so my guess is we're not talking record g levels, and the energy absorbtion of the disentegrating chassis helped save his life.

The G's could have easily reached 200. Not on the initial impact but while the car was spinning in the air there had to be a massive amount of G's.

I don't know what experienced 200 G's, but if it were anywhere near his head, Kenny wouldn't have been awake and alert in the infield care center.

Highly doubt it. His hardest impact of the accident had to be landing on the track.
