  • Ha. Ok Willow Spring 2005, Any Road racing in 2004?

Does anyone think the IRL will be road racing in 2004?

Anyone think it would make sense to take away the series formerly know as CART's only niche? Yes they still have that niche.

Well if CART doesnt answer the bell i would add Long Beach in a heartbeat

That is exactly what I was thinking. Long Beach would be great, I wonder if the Mayor of Cleveland would approve?

Is this an IRL road race thread or a CART is dead thread?

            Willow Springs?

            Are people deluded?

That track is so far out in the sticks it makes Road America look like a major metropolitan area, and has NO facilities for a major spectator event.

The AIS went there for a couple of years. I think they taxed the track's spectator capacity.

            That should be telling.

How many times and ways are you going to ask this, enough!

As for Willow Springs, it will never run an Indycar event, to the best I can recall, CART doesn't even test there.

Bring the IndyCars back to Watkins Glen.

Why should that matter, he has asked the same question three times, been answered many times, and he is still at it?

If his intent isn't clear by now...

Hasn't Barnhardt or somone already said there would be no road racing in the IRL until 2005?

Did CART die and nobody told me?

I don't know why everybody's so stoked about adding Long Beach. The racing there has stunk since they changed the course from a right turn to a left turn at the end of the Seaside straight. Before that, they actually had passing, IIRC.

Think about it. ...... btw, it has nothing to do with passing.

I Didn't say they would run at Willow did I?

If they are going to turn right, which they are, I am trying to find out where that might happen?

I personally think Long Beach and Cleveland would cut the head off of the series formerly known as CART.

My goal has always been the same ONE SERIES. I like racing and personally do not give a rip where they are at, and necessarily who the series is. My favorite is Indy Car Racing. and I did not say anything about anyone racing at Willow.
