Some of you may remember my post, "Resurrection", where I
mentioned getting a former fan interested again. Last week I
took him to Granite City to see the weekly show. Now he thinks
Indy Car racing is WEAK! Dirt track is the thing for him now!
He can't wait to go back! It's all he talks about at work!

Oh, well, at least he's going to races

I saw you are from Edwardsville, I was born and raised there, now living in Indianapolis. My father, and grandfather were both firefighters in Edwardsville.

Dirt track racing is addicting, and a lot of fun. IndyCar racing will always be my favorite, Indy car racing is better than ever despite what some people think.

Racing is racing and dirt tracks are always exciting but it has a strong draw and it should, it is great racing. There is a place for each type of racing and like a good restaurants menu, it is nice to be able to pick and choose our personal favorites. I am just gald so many people are coming to the sport.

Oh well, like you said at least he is going to races and you are in a great location to see every type of racing there is

He will now begin following the dirt circuit. One of those drivers he watches will get a shot at Nascar, he will then follow that racer on the cup tour. It's how that whole thing works. Meanwhile, European fans are anxiously awaiting Thomas Enge's shot at the Panther ride.

dirtshoe99: so why did you leave Edwardsville? How long ago?

          I don't know any firefighters.

I'm in no way European and I'm interested to see how Enge will perform/has performed..

Don't Generalize, I like sprint/midget racing, but it doesn't mean I give a rats arse where these guys go if they leave the short tracks...
