I read his autobiography last year, then wrapped it up and gave it to my dad for Christmas!

Great book, great man, and always in the top few names of the best drivers never to win indy.

Better remove "winning" from your post or old Ruby won't be allowed to race.

I don't imagine Mario will be there. He should be proud of his roots, but I get the impression that he would like all to forget he ever raced the real "Champ Cars, on dirt or pavement, back in the days before he got so full of himself.

And then there is Foyt, who, even if he could fit in a car, would need two engines to haul him around. That is a only half-jokingly mentioned, for I am a true Foyt fan, deeply concerned about his health. Well, "grand marshal" will have to surfice, perhaps missing the chance to once again race with his peers, if he had any, will be the impetus Foyt needs to begin losing weight and taking care of himself.

The above said, consider the possibilities of a race like that th Ft. Worth, with Foyt, Andretti, Jones, Rutherford, Ruby, Carter and an Unser or two still around to do it. Only SMI would try to do something like this, I don't know how all this will turn out, but it could be huge. IMO, The cars should have "IndyCar all over them.
