After being at the race Sunday it seems that Anthony may have turned the corner and is making headway. He did a good job of holding his line and when faster traffic came up on him he moved over and let them go, unlike Tora who seemed to always be holding people up. Nazareth is a difficult track with only one lane and I personally feel he did a good job. Ever since Richmond when he ran infront of Dixon for so many laps it has seemed like he got some confidence back.

Actually, I watched AJ IV at the Michigan race and I thought he was handling himself well. One could argue that he should have spent another year with IPS, but I think he's developing well. I just hope he doesn't end up getting someone seriously injured.BRAWNDO - THE THIRST MUTILATOR...IT'S GOT WHAT PLANTS CRAVE!

well for Aj IV's sake I sure hope he doesn't read this thread, because the fricken negativity vultures are already circling overhead. better don the helmets and flak vests!
AJ will get it together, he's young, and if he works hard he'll become a great racer!

From my vantage point, it seemed he struggled on the restarts. He couldn't get up to speed quick enough.
But at the same time, once he was up to speed he was very, very smooth (unlike Sharp and the aforementioned Takagi.) During the long stint after the first yellow, he was as consistent as anyone out there, hardly the moving chicane that many people view him as.
I wonder how many people would have thought that he would finish only two laps back at Naz, and finish ahead of defending race winner Sharp, who was also two laps down?
He looked to me like a rookie who is growing, still struggling with certain aspects (restarts) but showed he belonged at race speed.
He may not have a top-10, but I think he'll have plenty of them in the future.

I'm glad some are beginning to realize that AJIV is a very young and very green driver who is improving week in and week out. To have expected anything more from him this year is just plain ludicrous. Observers who have actually been at the tracks, and posted here, have reported that IV has become smooth and consistent at speed. When he gets that confidence that'll get him that extra speed, I'm betting he'll be a star.
