    New Pennzoil commercial

    I could be the only one who hadn't seen this yet, but Pennzoil aired a new commercial (to me) during Daytona quals. It was almost all "highlight" footage, split about 50/50 between the #1 Cup car and the IRL car. There were also a couple clips of Hornish celebrating wins, with a couple of Steve Park celebrating the SAME win...

    Nice change from last year, when their NASCAR commercials only featured NASCAR.

    You may be the only one who hadn't seen that one, RW. . .

    Actually they did change it a bit from what I remember. Something about "the only oval that gets you to the finish line is this one. . . " followed by the Pennzoil oval shaped logo. Nicely done.

      I saw it today also. Rev, it is similar, but different from last year's commercial. They made the dialogue less cerebral by adding just the simple tag line at the end so as to not confuse the NASCAR fans. I like both of them though, and hope that they still utilize both during the racing season.
