  • Scheckter and Kanaan in the wall

Big shake up in the points race, with Dixon, and Kanaan dropping out today.

Scheckter tries to pass Kanaan, and into the wall they go.

    Hannibal Wreckter does it again

Yep, those road racers sure learn oval tracks easily, don't they?

And Alex Barron doesn't have a ride.

Scheckter's "Maturation process" takes a hit

Well, so much for Paul Page's comment of "..Scheckter's maturation process is coming along just fine this year..."
        But that's just my opinion!

It wasn't a pass, he just ran into the back of Tony.........

            OK...

so Dixon is about to lose a heap of points in the title race...

but Kanaan is removed from the equation...

            by Dixon's team mate...

            call me cynical...

If that was as boneheaded a move by Scheckter as it appeared, I think Mr Parkie-for-a-week should take a visit to the number 10 team.

Any mitigation from anyone? Brake problem?

That didnt look like a passing attempt, looked more like Scheckter either misjudged his speed or got caught out by Kanaan

It was a pretty good punt, I guess the football season is just around the corner.

Well, I look at Tomas as the Great Equalizer between Ganassi Racing and the lesser funded teams. He sure does wreck enough cars.

Let's see. Wardy had a win and Shecky a bunch of torn up cars, and who is driving and who is sitting?

                    Hmmmpphh.

Yeh, and now, unless they also drop out, it looks like Helio and Gil will come out 1 and 2 in the points.

I'm still trying to figure out what Page meant when he said that Lazier was Dixon's first encounter on the track. Dixon had already lapped two cars.

Looks like those Ganassi cars are prepared on a par with the Cheever machines.

Second time this year a Target car has planted Kanaan in the wall.

So between Dixon taking out Tony in Japan, and Scheckter taking him out today, the TCGR team has really done a number on him.
