  • Billy Boat crashed?

Looks like Boat is still on the track. He must be the car that spun and hit the wall. Unfortunate.

    It wasn't Boat.

Then spill it! Why the code of silence?
            Quit whining. Enjoy the racing.

TSL reports that it is Anthony Lazzaro. Apparently, he has been checked out by medical personel, and is okay.

TSL is reporting on an incident involving Lazzaro in turn 2.

Some damage to the car, Lazzaro has been cleared already.

Great news that he is ok. But Sam sure didn't need this kind of hit to the pocket book. I was really hoping that this team could get to the front. I hope this isn't any kind of setback for them.

                  God bless Sam Schmidt.

Lazzaro was so good at Fontana, despite a late start. Phoenix is another issue, those like Mack who opted out will find their hands full when they try to race at Phoenix, if they even get the chance!

(A.L. talking about phoenix track): “I love it. It’s a real driver’s track. We should be pretty good when we come back here to race. I like Fontana better than the 1.5-mile tracks because it is flatter. The schedule has a lot of good tracks. My least favorite are the 1.5-mile, high-banked tracks because they are just an engine dyno. But they make for great racing." http://www.indyracing.com/press/story.php?id=392

You make it sound as if Mack had the choice to go to Phoenix? Was it his choice to not go?

Lazzaro was forced high by a slow car and he got into the marbles.
