  • Official racing school of the IRL?

I was wondering if the IRL plans on aligning themselves with any racing school in the future. CART advertises the Skip barber very well in magazines and tv commercials. If CART runs out of money(Hope not though), will Skippy run to the IRL to grab exposure?

If I recall, Skip Barber teaches the basics of road racing. If this is true, maybe that's not such a good thing.

What irks me (maybe its too soon for the truth), DW was a 16-oval WIN specialist, yet the vast majority those boohooing for him, hardcarders & fans, alike are the same ones trying to kill anything with more than 9 deg banking & 4 corners, where Dan ultimately made his home...

I always thought it was I 70 between Indy and Columbus, now if I could only get the guys with the Blue and Red lights to cooperate This last year was brutial

Trust me, every one of them use I-70 as their speedway. I see it every day. I travel I-70 daily, and the minute one passes me I automatically increase 10 mph. They haven't yet pulled me over for doing what they're doing! About 70% of them don't wear their seatbelts while enforcing "click it or ticket." Whatever.

Instead of "click it or ticket", it should be "Take your ticket and stick it". What hypocrites.
