  • Question re road courses

Most of you know that I am no road racing fan, but I have a question.

Various road courses (and even some street circuits) have been tossed around as to whether or not we should race there. There is one road course I've never heard mentioned. I am curious as to why? Safety considerations? Track layout? Location? The track in question is Sears Point - nascar seems to run quite successfully there, why no open wheel interest?
I'm from a place called the internet. Nothing disturbs me.

Sears Point is narrow, fairly slow and doesn't have a lot of good passing zones. For high-speed formula cars, there'd only be one really good spot - Turn 11.

Laguna Seca is better suited to open-wheel racing and adequately serves the market.
