  • Why is the Chevy/Cosworth-Ford Engine.....

    such an issue...but the Honda/Illmor-DaimlerChrysler engine isn't?

because the Honda kids are using the same engine they started out the year with....

at least thats why its a big deal to me....i wouldnt care if it was a yugo-let, kia-let, chevrolotus or whatever.....

as a loyal IRL fan, i dont appreciate the mid-season screwing around when it affects the points race...

Sam's 90 points out with 6 to go. Needs to net 15+ points over Dixon. He's reverting back to Gen III at Gateway. He'll probably lose ground and be 100 points out with 5 to go. Aint no way he's going to make that up unless the top 4/5 guys implode or suffer injuries.

He may break into the top 5, maybe 3rd tops, but I seriously doubt he'll do better than that. And hopefully the sponsors will take note and they will re-up for next year. Pretty decent trade to me.

Heath, did you squawk when Nissan introduced a new engine mid-season a couple of years ago?

What most affected the points race was the Gen III that they started the year with.

The transformation is complete. The Indy 500 is the only IndyCar race that matters.

Good to hear. Then maybe we'll see how much talent Vitor has. He looked pretty good last year at Texas 2.
