MIS weekend

On Sunday I heard one of the Detroit media claim that that MIS sold around 10k seats for the truck race on Saturday - and the crowd estimate was less than that



After the IRL race he said "How can you watch NASCAR here after seeing that"



I know, about 150k will find a way but sounds like IRL made a new fan

I have said it before, MIS has done everything they can. They ran a lot of ad's in the paper, radio, made kids free, sold combo tickets for just $50 for both days, had a free carnival, displays, pit stop challanges in the infield.

It was a great weekend, and a great time to be an IRL fan. While I hope they get 150k in there someday to watch an IRL race, I will probably complain how hard it is to get in and out!
